| | | "Facts from life. British photography 1974-1997" | The exhibition had been created as an event in the Month of Photography in Krakow. It's a comprehensive look at the British photography in the years 1974-1997, and an attempt to show its evolution over those three decades. Photographers selected by the curator, Katy Barron, are names recognized not only in Britain but all around the world. Their work represents a milestone in the development of the British photographs and with their eyes we can see stills from the life of all social strata of contemporary Britain, in many situations, in groups divided thematically. There are some photos of both Martin Parr, large format photo prints, with corrected, posed, ordinary people in their homes, as well as strict journalistic staff, including Tom Hunter's look on daily habits and behavior of the British people.
Photographers whose works are included in the exhibition are: Chris Killip, Chris Steele-Perkins, Jem Southam, John Davies, Paul Graham, Tom Wood, Martin Parr, Anna Fox, Richard Billingham and Tom Hunter.
