"The short dream of life. The treasures of Sisters of the Visitation"
The exhibition presents 100 valuable, unknown objects from the collection of the Sisters of the Visitation is another event in the framework of the "Krakow at your fingertips."

The event is created in celebration of the jubilee 400th anniversary of the Order of the Visitation and the 330 th anniversary of the foundation of the Monastery of Visitation in Kraków. Most of the exhibits come from the collections of well-known aristocratic families, whose descendants joined the Sisters of the Visitation. Reports, however, were never to develop, what makes this exhibition a unique event.

The variety of treasures is dominated by textiles and jewelery, so the exhibition includes antique alby, vestments, copes and Dalmatics, embroidery and lace, and chalices, reliquaries, crosses, ampoules. There are paintings, including portrait of John Malachowski, two paintings in the series painted Paweł Pieleszyński entitled Credo, a portrait of St. Francis de Sales, painted by Michal Stachowicz and a picture of Mary Magdalene at the tomb of Christ.
